Rule #1, Remember, YOU are beautiful!

Don’t forget your sunscreen

As we know, the UV rays of the sun are harsh, and your face is more sensitive than you realize. Picking a foundation that already includes SPF will help protect that beautiful face of yours while preventing skin aging in one simple step. An alternative option is to apply your sunscreen prior to applying your foundation, it protects just the same.

Always remove makeup when your day is over.

Removing makeup that could potentially clog your pores throughout the night will help reduce the risk of potential break outs, and allows the pores to breathe, trust me your face depends on this!

Use a daily moisturizer.

After a shower or bath is the best time to apply your moisturizer. Using products like shower gel or even shampoo can wash away some of your face’s natural oil, leaving it dry. Applying your moisturizer can help keep it looking young and fresh and will help your makeup to last longer.

Exfoliate your face.

I recommend at least once every week. While exfoliating your face leaves it soft, smooth, and provides you with a smoother skin tone it actually helps generate new skin cells, which is most important. Exfoliating your face removes the top layer of the Derma, and exposes the new cells making your face feel and look brand new

Need to cover a pimple?

Use a green based concealer to counteract the redness. Dab it on and smooth out evenly, don’t worry, everyone gets them!

Feeling oily?

Purchase products that say matte or are made for oily skin.  Apply a mattifying lotion or primer to areas like the T zone while applying your makeup to keep the shine under control. if you find yourself feeling oily during the day you can always purchase Blotting papers, a quick way to soak it all up, the best part is it won’t have any effect on the makeup you already applied.

Don’t forget those lips

Applying a lip moisturizer before bed will help keep your lips soft and smooth, let’s face it nobody wants to kiss dry or flaky lips.
